The Role

We're hiring a Head of Growth Product who will own our digital product strategy, roadmap, and execution, driving outstanding customer experiences and commercial outcomes. This is a hybrid leadership role: strategic enough to shape the company’s direction, and hands-on enough to lead product development, customer insight and delivery with urgency and precision.

You’ll be accountable for building the foundational knowledge, insight, and execution capability to make Sim Local a best-in-class digital product organisation. You’ll also act as the voice of the customer, combining commerciality, digital experience design, and cross-functional collaboration to unlock scale and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision

  • Define, own, and communicate the long-term digital product vision aligned with company strategy and growth goals.
  • Build and continuously update a comprehensive product knowledge base (market insight, user needs, competitive landscape) to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop multi-horizon roadmaps for our core eSIM and digital offerings, from onboarding to retention across our web and app experiences.
  • Represent the product vision and priorities at the senior leadership level (ELT participation).

Growth & Execution

  • Lead the product growth lifecycle: from research and ideation to delivery and optimisation.
  • Drive hands-on execution, including stakeholder management, and support the engineering and customer experience teams with sprint management.
  • Drive product-led growth loops (onboarding, freemium/paid, referrals), aligned with marketing and CX.
  • Ensure new features meet high standards for usability, performance, and measurable value.

Insight & Analytics

  • Own and evolve Sim Local’s product analytics stack (GA4, Hotjar, Dovetail, etc.) and performance reporting.
  • Use data driven forecasting models to validate product and market investments.
  • Champion evidence-based decision-making—building ROI models, segment performance views, and A/B testing frameworks.

Customer Obsession & Experience

  • Act as the ultimate voice of the customer across all touchpoints and lifecycle stages.
  • Champion user-centred design and experience excellence through constant testing and iteration.
  • Advocate for underserved or emerging customer segments based on qualitative and quantitative research.

Team & Capability Building

  • Build the foundations of a high-performing digital product organisation—recruiting talent, implementing tools, and codifying best practices.
  • Develop the product management function (including digital product and experimentation) and define clear operating models with adjacent teams (Tech, Design, Marketing, CX).
  • Provide coaching and leadership to internal PMs, contractors, or agencies.

Commercial Impact

  • Drive conversion rate, LTV, and profitability improvements through product innovation.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to size market opportunities and align product strategy with revenue goals.
  • Ensure each product or feature has a clear rationale and success criteria, ensuring performance tracking post-launch.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in product or growth roles,with proven impact in direct-to-consumer digital businesses
  • A hybrid strategic leader and operational executor with a builders mindset: comfortable switching between defininglong-term direction and diving into sprint planning or writing a Jira ticket.
  • Analyticaland data-driven, with strong command of tools like GA4, Amplitude, Dovetail,Hotjar, etc.
  • Deepexperience in platform development, customer lifecycle optimisation, funnelanalysis, and growth experimentation (A/B testing, CRO, retention loops, etc.).
  • Excellentcommunicator and collaborator across disciplines—tech, design, marketing, ops.
  • Comfortablein a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally,experience in eSIMs, telecoms, travel tech, or a similar domain (not essential,but a plus)
