The Role

Reports to: Operations Manager


We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage and optimize inventory operations across our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including hands-on experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), to streamline inventory ordering, tracking, reporting, and automation of stock control processes. Needs to have a keen eye for detail and experience in managing data files will be good to have.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage stock levels across all data warehouses and retail locations.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock and eSim stock with system records.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based inventory models, dashboards, and automated reports using VBA.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them.
  • Forecast stock requirements based on historical data, sales trends, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team, Digital , Operations and Tech teams to ensure stock availability.
  • Set and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Analyze slow-moving and obsolete out of date inventory and recommend action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and inventory management procedures.
  • Ensure accurate month-end reconciliations for both UK and Ireland vending operations and stock rooms.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Analyst, or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and VBA scripting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
